Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

At St Peter at Gowts Church of England Primary School, we believe every child should have the opportunity to experience success in learning at the highest possible standard. We do this by taking account of pupils’ varied life experiences and needs.

There may be times when your child requires additional support to help meet their needs.  This decision is made based on a variety of factors. We aim to form a partnership with parents/carers and keep you fully informed and also listening to your concerns.

Click on the link below to read our SEN information report and policy. These documents aim to answer any questions you may have regarding your child’s needs.

We encourage any parents who wish to discuss this information further to contact Mrs Cook (SENDCo), who will be more than happy to arrange a time to meet with you. Please speak to the school office if you would like to arrange an appointment with Mrs Cook.
