Vision & Values

Our School Vision

Unlocking potential in all, empowering a community of hope.

As an inclusive Christian community, we work towards unlocking the potential in all and empowering a community of hope.

We seek to achieve this by providing a safe, inspiring and creative learning environment where all can flourish.

Our successes are built on the foundation of our shared values and our consistently high expectations. Through challenge and support, we strive for excellence in all we do.

Dare to declare who you are. It is not far from the shores of silence to the boundaries of speech. The path is not long, but the way is deep. You must not only walk there, you must be prepared to leap.

St Hildegard of Bingen

Our School Values

As Church of England School, core values sit at the very heart of our school community and our curriculum and underpin everything we do. Although rooted in Christianity, our core values are universal human values and we reflect on each with the goal of  determining the sort of person we are or become. In our school, we aim to be the sort of people that God would want us to be and to treat others in the way we would want them to treat us.

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. (Proverbs 22:6)

“Our world so desperately needs hope. Values-based Education is bringing this hope, by creating a transformational movement that has the potential to transform education and society, so that we can live in peace and harmony with each other; ensuring the sustainability of our planet.” Dr Neil Hawkes, founder of VbE
