Admission Arrangements

Lincolnshire County Council is the admissions authority for St Peter at Gowts Church of England Primary School.  The Education Committee has decided that Primary Schools should adopt an Annual Admissions Policy (i.e. children are admitted to school in September following their 4th birthday, if that is their parents wish).

It is the Governors wish that wherever possible parents’ requests for the enrollment of their children be met.  However, with the existing class size limits and LEA accommodation recommendations, we can offer a total school role of 210 plus 52 part-time places in the nursery class. Information regarding appealing a school place can be found here: https://www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/school-admissions/appeal-school-place

You can find out about going to school in Lincolnshire and mid year transfers by visiting the dedicated Admissions area on the Lincolnshire County Council website: https://www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/schools-and-education/school-admissions/

Applications can be made electronically by completing an application form on the Lincolnshire County Council website or by calling School Admissions on 01522 782030.  If you would like to look around our school, please contact us to arrange this.
